Artwork

My artwork is painted digitally, generally with an oil or gouache painting render. The versatility of the tool allows me to give it the look of an actual paint on a canvas. My paintings and drawings are made at high resolution, then either printed on professional photographic paper, or on canvas, or also perfect for display on TV flat screens and electronic panels.

Most of my works evoke exoticism, mainly Asia and especially Shanghai where I have been living for many years now. Another recurring topic is dance, an art that I find particularly inspiring, elegant and that holds a place of choice in my family.

When I do not work on commissions for galleries or companies, I also paint tailor made portraits. It is probably the most personal and meaningful because I know that the people will keep my artwork and that it hopefully will survive me !
